So, I had all these crazy plans that I would write loads of pregnancy posts and document the whole thing here for you all but mainly for me, you know, as a little memory.

But the truth is I don't quite know where the last 23 weeks have gone.

I had so many expectations about pregnancy and what it would be like and let's be honest my expectations have been nothing like my reality.

First off. I LOVE BEING PREGNANT and being able to feel baby GIRL wind move around OH ME OH MY that has made it all so much real and I can't wait to meet her, to squish her and to squeeze her so much. Plus I can't wait to dress her up in the millions of headbands, the reality is I have nought so many but shhh to tell Andrew.

You see my EXPECTATION was this...
In my head I honestly thought I would feel rough and sick till about 12 weeks and then I would get the glow that everyone talks about.

But the REALITY is...
I have been sick most days for the last 23 weeks and if I am not being sick I am feeling sick. Ha!

But the thing is, I don't mind. I really don't.
I have become quite the pro at being sick now and deal with it I think pretty well, ok sometimes I do. I don't mind feeling sick as it's a reminder that my little girl is still there growing every day.

Being sleepy, I am all good with that. Growing a human is hard work so sleepiness I welcome you and I am actually enjoying being forced to relax and look after myself.

It hasn't been what I expected but I would NOT change it for the world.

I am having a baby and I am so unbelievably thankful and excited and can not wait to hold our little one in my arms and that thought makes all the sickness, nausea, sleepiness and body changes SO. SO. WORTH. IT!!!

The first and half of my second trimester have gone so fast that I am going to try so hard now to document the last part of my pregnancy. I don't want to forget this and in years to come and I want to look back and see how I felt and what was happening. So if you want stick around and keep checking in for more posts and updates on Baby and Me.

23 weeks done. 17 weeks to go.

The Last 16 Weeks

If you haven't noticed I have been quiet and this time I have a genuine reason!

You may have guessed already if you have seen my Instagram but Andrew and I are having a baby and we are so excited!

I am officially 4 months pregnant and the last 16 weeks have been like no other in a good way and a bad way.

Here is what I have learnt so far...
- The most ridiculous things make you retch and well, when you retch there is no going back. One day I saw a mouldy banana and I was gone.
- I have mainly lived on a diet of beige coloured food.
- Being sick has become a part of my daily routine. 10.45 on the dot, sickness strikes!
- I have had way to many TMI conversations with people. Poo, wee, labour, sick you name it!
- I've gone from not eating breakfast to now being a two breakfast kinda girl, every day!
- I am always snacking. I'm writing this sat in the hospital waiting room waiting for my husband and I have devoured 4 ginger biscuits already, to the point the receptionist asked if I was pregnant! What gave it away the pack of ginger biscuits of the fact I have ran past you to spew twice.
- Walking around with sick on my shoes and up my jeans is a pretty common occurrence, having had to stop mid road trip to be sick and it going everywhere, no wipes and no clean clothes. I just had to get on with it!
- Your body is currently doing the most amazing thing ever and growing a human but that also means it does the most ridiculous things too. Spots, smells, bionic nail growth, seriously I cut them yesterday and today they need cutting again, my hair has become thicker which is nice but one of the most random thing is I have started choking on my own saliva. Apparently you can produce more saliva while pregnant and yep, I have.
- Some days you are literally loving life and the next you want to curl up in bed and watch jane the virgin on repeat as you are TOO sleepy.
- House work goes out the window. I mean if you could see my house
- The hormones. Wow! Those pesky things. The best so far was definitely sat in the bath crying to Andrew because it was 9.50pm and I wanted cereal and we had no milk!
- When people say it will all get easier after your first trimester! I am currently 16 weeks pregnant and my first trimester finished 4 weeks and if anything I feel worse that I did back then.
- I have kinda given up on eating out as I have lost count of the amount of meals I have eaten and then been sick before we have even paid for it. Clearly Baby Wind was not a fan of that Frankie and Bennys breakfast we had the other day.

This is the MOST EXCITING TIME EVER. The pretty things, the excitement, pram shopping, name thinking I ADORE IT ALL.

All of the above the good and the bad is totally worth it because at the beginning of January next year Andrew and I will get to see our cute tiny(?) bundle of love. This isn't my baby or Andrews baby this is OURS and this little one is the most important thing to us at the moment. If it means I have to sleep a little more, say no to a few more things, take the disgusting vitamins, attends hospital appointments when I hate hospitals then I will, I will do it all day, everyday, I will endure the sickness and the smells and the spots and the soreness because we are brewing a baby a baby we have prayed for and dreamed about for over a year and this baby means more than anything to us and we CAN NOT wait to be parents!

So to our tiny Baby Wind, we love you so much already. Keep getting bigger and stronger and we can not wait to meet you.

Dear Diary: Life Lately

It is Bank Holiday Monday and I am currently sat on the sofa under a fluffy blanket, drinking a Costa and eating a Danish pastry, I have spent the whole day watching Netflix and catching up on all the programmes that we have recorded. On a side note I have just watched Mothers Day and Netflix and I LOVED IT, a total chick flick but so good.
This weekend seems to have flown by, well lets be honest the last month has, last time I checked it was February and we were celebrating Andrews Birthday and now that lad is loving life being 30. Without me quite realising I have just been so busy and time has passed me by, so this weekend has been all about re focusing and just re charging in some ways.
Now if you know my husband you will know that his main plan for this weekend was to do 'Jobs around the house' I wanted to sit in coffee shops and go to the beach but no, the broken fence in the back garden came out the winner so we have spent our weekend trying to sort that out, boring I know but apparently we will feel so much better when it is done!
Hopefully in the next few weeks I will get back on top of all this blogging stuff but for now, here is a little photo dump of the last month and a bit for all you lovely ones.

So, since we last chatted we have had more birthday celebrations for Mr W, I got all my hair chopped off and even braved it and had a sneeky fringe put in and I LOVE IT. Andrew and I have continued to do lots of jobs around the house, including re vamping our wardrobe and of course a TON of family time. This month we welcomed our new baby niece and well, she is BEAUTIFUL.
Life is so exciting and so so so good. We are now in the middle of April but we have started to make plans for my birthday and I am so excited now to turn 30.
So what have you lovely lot been up to the last few weeks, tell me, tell me!
Enjoy the rest of your bank holiday and I will see you all soon, I PROMISE.

Primark Haul March 2017

Hello Strangers.
So yeah, let's address the issue!
I've not blogged for a month. Reason being, I HAVE BEEN SO BUSY.

Mr Wind turned 30 at the end of February and well we celebrated hard. Parties, presents, trips away and so much more. Due to that I have just been abit awol.

But I am back and I am so excited to get back into this blogging malarkey and being honest I have missed it big style.

So if you follow me on Instagram, if you don't make sure you do. I had a rare day off in the week so headed to the beautiful place that is Primark. Nothing makes me more happy than a quiet mid week shop to Primark. I didn't need anything but the thing is you never do, do you, But two bags later I clearly needed something.

In the last week I have watched a TON of Primark hauls on YouTube so I was literally chomping at the bit to get there and £50 later I picked myself up quiet the haul.

So enough waffle! Let's show you Primark fans what I got my hands on.

This coat should of been £28 and it was down to £5. I know right, what a steal!
This coat is two sizes two small but you wouldn't know! It's just so beautiful. I can't wait to rock this now, with out the fur collar as the weather gets warmer.

This again was a impulse purchase but to be honest everything I bought was, this was on a rail near the entrance and when I saw that it was one £5 I thought why the heck not. I can imagine wearing this in the summer with bare tanned legs and sandals or even little ankle boots now.

I am all about the oversize tshirts and when o saw this it was put in the basket without thinking. I work with kids so tshirts like this are essential and some days you just want to rock a large tshirts, skinnies and trainers and this tshirts is for that.

Being quite honest this will probably be worn once before I get a stain on it or before it gets dyed another colour in the wash but the feel of this fabric and how soft it is, is amazing.

VESTS / £1.80

I am a girl who wears a vest under any top, dress or any item of clothing. I always have and always will, not sure what it is but I won't leave the house ever just wearing one top, it's all about the layers.
These best are only £1.80 and well you can never have too many can you.

SHOES / £3 - £8

This was the one thing I actually needed. After spending the whole of winter wearing boots or trainers I am more than ready to get some ballet pumps on my feet and I think my feet are excited to breathe again. Ok ok, the gold shoes are ridiculous but we all need some gold in our life. The black shoes are practical and the leopard ones are for fun and a bit of adventure.

I am all over the Victoria Secret inspired nightshirts and this one is my favourite and so soft. This little gem was only £8 and having worn it for bed last night I can confirm it is softest fabric. EVER.
Now that the warmer nights are coming, those fleecy pyjamas are away and I am loving these SO MUCH.

These two things I picked up as I was queing to may for my things, Primark know how to do it don't they. These glasses are amazing, Mr Wind didn't agree but you know what I love them. Every girl needs sock and when I saw these ones I had to get them although I have chunkier legs and they definitely don't go over my knees.

So there we have it all the things I didn't need from Primark. Have you guys been and picked anything up recently? Comment below and let me know.

Don't forget if you haven't already to follow me on Bloglovin, Twitter and Instagram, I will appreciate muchly.

Have a great weekend.

When they do a sale, they do a sale don't they.

Yesterday an email landed in my inbox from ASOS telling me that they had further reductions on many items in there SALE and well of course naturally I had a little look and oh my. If I wasn't on a spending band till the end of February these items would be purchased ASAP.

The reason whey I love ASOS is because they have an incredible and very beautiful Plus Size range. To many stores these days pride themselves on having plus size clothes but they are either not me or super exspensive but ASOS nail it everytime.

As you can see from the picture above I am very much rocking two looks at the moment. The lounge wear, laid back, oversized t shirt look or the pleated midi length skirt style. They are both so in now and you can see the two looks where ever you go and in most highstreet shops.

All of these items are £20 and under and such versatile pieces you can rock any season. Spring is definitely on its way and I can see the Dafoldils growing in the garden as I write this post. I am so ready to start to pack away those jumpers and start to rock some more pastel lighter shades and I think these tops will help with that.

Andrew turns 30 at the end of the month and we are all heading out for a family meal and I would love to wear a pleated skirt. At the moment I have a few in my favourites but I love this pale blue one and think it would be perfect for summer and a wedding I have booked in.

Oh ASOS you have done it again, you know, making me buy things that...
1. I don't (think) I need.
2. I don't have the money for. Well I do but I am suppose to be saving.
3. I can't live with out. I mean have you seen that skirt. WANT!

I highly encourage that if you get chance you should head over and check out the ASOS sale. You may pick yourself up a little bargain or a new little oufit.

January Favourites

28th January. Well we made it didn't we. First month down and I have to say it has been a good one.

Here are just a few highlights.
1. I have lost a stone in weight! Wahooo. A whole 14lbs and I feel A-M-A-Z-I-N-G for it.
2. Andrew and I went on some dates and it was the best.
3. I have stuck with the whole blogging every week thing I said.
4. Jobs we said we wanted to do around the house have been done.
5. I have seen friends and drank a lot of coffee which makes me happy.
6. I have bought all of Andrews presents for his birthday next month! Winning at life.
7. We have booked time off and are going on holiday next month.

January I have loved you and I now can not wait for February with Valentines Day, 30th Birthdays and holidays.

Now, there have been some things I have been OBSESSED with this month and I wanted to share them with you lovely ones. So, enough of me and all my ramberling.

Here are my January Favourites.

For Christmas Andrew got me an Elizabeth Arden Bright Lights, Big City set and oh my. There are so many things in there that I love but the Eye Make Up Remover has to be the best. Most days I wear eye shadow, eye liner, masacara and I was finding that I was rubbing my eyes most nights so hard to get all the make up off. This was leaving me having really sensitive eyes. I wasn't really expecting much from this so when I used it because I couldn't find anything else I was BLOWN away. I put a few drops on some cotton wool, hold it to my eyes and rub off and it literally wipes away.

I picked this beauty up in the Boxing Day Sale after hearing so many people rave about it and honestly I can see why. When I use this I can smell it on my skin for hours after, my husband has become obsessed with it as well. I do think this is only available at Christmas which sucks but when Christmas comes it definitely is a must. Has anyone ever used this before, what is the smell? HELP I can not work it out.

F O O D   A N D   D R I N K

Now I know this is a funny one but this month I have just drank Pepsi Max like it is going out of fashion. Everyday I pick on of these up from the shop next to work and it is gone with in no time. I have recently joined Weight Watchers, I know, I know I am that desperate and with it all being based on points and that, this beauty comes in with 0 smart points so that's a winner in my eyes.

Now you may have seen but at the beginning of the month I made Vanilla Cupcakes from Tanya Burrs book, Tanya Bakes and man they are so good and so easy to make now we have our KitchenAid, so yeah you got it, this month I have made cupcakes so many times but as you know I am on a diet so I have just been given them away or eating them for a sneaky treat. If you are looking for a yummy cupcake recipe then make sure you check out my post or even by the book.

F A S H I O N

Andrew picked this scarf up for me at Christmas after I saw Rhiannon Ashlee talk about it one of her vlogs. I wanted a huge oversize scarf that I could wear with everything and even use as a wrap if needed and this was the one. We picked it up from ASOS for £12 and I have worn it every day. I have so many scarves but they don't always go with my oufits so its so nice to have one that goes with everything. This scarf has been a life saver the last few weeks, I have used it as a blanket in my freezing office and even covered my friends baby in it to keep them warm. Its a huge WIN.

If you follow me on Instagram you would have seen that over Christmas and the beginning of this month we have done lots of little jobs around the house including finally putting up prints that we have had for ages. At the bottom of our stairs we have this little wall art space which includes a personalised print from my brother that we got for our wedding, a calendar which we fill out and change monthly, a picture of us on our wedding day and then these two new prints. I found the 'Go the extra mile' quote online and just printed it out and then the 'Enjoy the little things' print was £1.99 from B&M and I love it. We have finished of this little space with a cute chair and its honestly one of my favourite corners of our house.
The cushions on our sofa were in need of a re vamp and I was ready to inject some more colour into our lives, much to Andrews annoyance. I wanted to go for a crazy, thrown on, different types of cushion look and I think we achieved that. I picked up these pastel pink cushions from Matalan for £6 and the mint green ones from Primark for £5. I love them and so does Andrew. The geometric triangle print cushions were from eBay and cost £2.49. They are so pretty and so cheap. My new favourite thing is to just sit on my sofa with all my cushions and make my own pillow palace.
T V   A N D   M U S I C

After having no series to watch together in such a long time we decided to start watching Suits after it was recommended by a friend. Seriously, SO GOOD! Its all about lawyers and solving cases and Andrew and I are hooked. Any time we have a chance to watch an episode we do. Definitely worth a watch if you are looking for something at the moment.
What a women. To be honest she could probably go in my favourites every month but this month 'Water Under the Bridge' has been on repeat. I can't help but sing my heart out and dance away to it. Well there is no way I can do a January Favourites and not talk about the beauty that is Ed Sheeran. I am so glad he is back and his song 'Castle on the Hill' is my jam really. January has been all about these two voices.
There we have it friends, my January Favourites and a few highlights. How has your month been, what have you been loving?
Have your self and incredible week. Don't forget to go and follow me on Instagram and Twitter. I would love to see you over there.
